Description:
This is a TCC assigned name. The pattern on the other side is essentially the same as the one found on the right portion of the mug printed with the Garden Stroll with Parasol pattern (J177). Both patterns used on the ewer are larger than the design printed on the mug and, as such, they would have been engraved separately. The design for Bird Vendor appears to have been sourced from the Dictionarium Polygraphicum, Plate II, page 13. This is an early line-engraved example. Both the large bold border printed on the exterior of this ewer and the pattern added to the handle are different from those printed on the mug. The ewer has a second border printed on the inside of the lip. It matches the border found on the mug, thus forming another relationship between the two patterns.
Condition:  Very good.
