A large Dutch-shaped earthenware water jug printed in blue underglaze with two different patterns. On one side is the Chinese River Scene with Temple and Pyramids pattern. The border is a floral and passion flower design and the interior border contains two landscape scenes in cartouches, one includes a cottage and castle ruins and the other has oriental buildings with thatched roofs. Both patterns are recorded in the TCC Pattern Database.  The jug has been attributed to the Cambrian Pottery by the Tanners based on a Cambrian “Venus” printer’s mark found on the bottom, however, since it does not have a factory mark, it is recorded here as Maker Unknown.
