Description:
A pineapple shape molded earthenware jug printed in blue underglaze with the Queen of Sheba pattern. Brown enameling has been added to the rim. The pattern is a strange amalgam of chinoiserie, Gothic and classical elements.
Condition: Very Good. Rim rub areas to the handle and a small amount of flaking of the enamel on the rim near the spout. One tiny glaze nick on the side.
