Description:
This circular earthenware ink stand with handle supports 4 small 2-inch round containers: 2 for ink, one sander and one lidded container. Printed in blue underglaze with the Two Temples II, Variation Broseley pattern. I have been informed that it was part of a larger set and would have sat on a rectangular tray that held other writing pieces, all printed in the same pattern.
Condition: Good. Small chip to the underside of the stand. Small chip to the lid on two of the containers and one chip to the base of the sander
