Description:
Set of six bone china plates printed in gray underglaze with extensive overglaze enameling.  The set depicts the Willow Story series created by Royal Doulton.  Each plate depicts one episode in the Willow story from Chang and Koongshee’s escape from the old Mandarin through the establishment of a new home and a successful life together. The copy on the reverse side of each plate describes what is depicted in the pattern on the front. Birds in flight border.
Condition: Very good. They appear to have never been used.
