Description:
An earthenware dinner plate printed in ultramarine blue underglaze with the Tall Door pattern. It was given its name because the central doorway in the main building is proportionally very tall. The pattern was more commonly made on earthenware: however, tea ware was produced in bone china. The pattern was produced for many years. There are variations to the pattern when made by other potters; however this border was used by Spode.
Condition: Very good.
