Description:
A very fine example of a New Hall porcelain teapot in the standard commode shape. Decorated with gilt trim and in under glaze blue transfer-printed “Emerging Boat” pattern. The lighter blue areas were painted. Alternate names for this pattern are “Triple Willow”and “Twisted Willow.” See Miller, plate #778, p. 130 for a similar example.
