An elegantly designed bone china two-cup tea set with tray. Printed in dark blue underglaze with the Standard Willow pattern and with gilt trim added. The teapot and cream jug have molded entwined branch style handles after the Chinese shapes. The tray has molded round feet. The set is unmarked, however it can be attributed to Powell & Bishop, based on an identical set, in a different pattern, auctioned on eBay. It was purchased in France and may have been made for export to the continent. It consists of a tray, teapot, cream jug, covered sugar box, and two cups and saucers.
Condition: Very good. Professional restoration to the cream jug and one cup.
