Description:
A large, molded oblong earthenware dessert dish printed underglaze in blue with an early line-engraved Conversation pattern. This dish was exhibited at the True Blue Exhibition in 1998. See True Blue, Case 1, #1, p. 55 and p. 96. Possible attribution to Joshua Heath. c. 1795-1800. 11.5 ” in length, 8.5 ” wide.
Condition: Good. Two chips to the foot rim.
