Description:
A molded pearlware dessert dish printed in blue underglaze with the Buffalo pattern with brown enameling on the rim. Line engraved. The Buffalo pattern is one of the earliest to be transfer-printed on earthenware and was taken from a popular pattern found on Chinese import porcelains.
Condition: Very good condition with only very minor wear to the enameling on the rim.
