Description:
A small earthenware footed punch bowl printed with the Wounded Stag pattern. A large floral border decorates the outside of the bowl and an alternative floral pattern was used for the flared foot rim and is repeated as the internal border. Sherds of this pattern have been unearthed at President James Madison’s estate, Montpelier, Virginia.
Condition: Very good, some crazing.
