Description:
A small advertising plate printed in blue underglaze with the Standard Willow border. Coysh & Henrywood suggest  that W.T. Copeland may have been the manufacturer based on surviving records indicating dealings with this retailer. Also noted was an advertisement in the Southport Trades Director in 1894 with almost identical wording as on the plate. Intended as an advertising give-away. Other examples of this type are included in this collection.
