Description:
A rare pair of earthenware baluster-shaped bough pots printed in blue underglaze with the Buffalo pattern, variation Feather Heads with both a diaper and half rosette border and a diaper with butterfly border. This version of the Buffalo pattern is distinct because of the feather hats worn by the three figures. Attributed to Spode. One has a known Spode Workman’s mark.
