Description:
An earthenware bourdaloue printed in medium blue underglaze with the Two Temples II, Variation Broseley pattern. Very good condition. The bourdaloue was a toilet vessel made to be carried by ladies against an “emergency” during a long church service. They were also used on long coach journeys and were called “coach pots” in the 19th century.
Condition: Very good.
