Description:
An earthenware bowl with pedestal printed in medium blue underglaze with the Bungalow pattern. The bungalow is most like the one in the Davenport pattern in the TCC database; however, the shadow in the doorway is on the opposite side. The willow tree is larger and actually planted at the forefront of the pattern. One distinguishing feature of this pattern is the one-arch brick bridge with a figure crossing it, carrying a pole with star shape on the end. The pattern also includes a cottage on the land (or island) just at the other side of the bridge. The inside of the bowl shows the same view as the other patterns that have an island in the upper left of the pattern.
Condition:
Very good. One firing indentation on the base. Minor
