Description:
A rare earthenware cheese cradle printed in blue underglaze in two versions of the Buffalo pattern: Spode Type B and Feathered Heads. The latter is printed on the ends and Buffalo Type B is printed on the sides and in the interior. It is not marked but due to it’s shape and the characteristics of the patterns it can be attributed to Spode.
Condition: Very good. No hairlines, chips or cracks. Small amount of rubbing to the edge due to wear.
