Description:
A tall 8″ molded pouch vase. This is a TCC assigned name. The rim of the vase is painted over a molded shell edge. The base is printed with a version of the diaper border with rosettes similar to the inner border or Nankin used with the Buffalo pattern. The pattern printed on one side consists of a Chinese figure that holds out a basket of fruit to a large peacock. A flock of birds is seen in the distant sky. The opposite side of the vase was printed with a different pattern consisting of a an elegant pavilion with a fence in front of it.
Condition:
Very good. Chip to the rim and a small one to the base have been professionally restored.
