Commemorative earthenware jug. Printed in blue underglaze with a variation of the Two Temples II Variation Broseley pattern. Painted in black under the spout is the name “Sarah Carter” and the prayer “O lord be thou my guide and bring me safe to land that all thy wonders i may tell at home & distant lands” dated 1851.
Condition: Very good. Professional restoration to the handle
