Description:
An earthenware comport, printed in blue. The pattern is a fanciful interpretation of a Chinese garden scene with three figures conversing in the foreground and an elaborately designed summer house perched high on a rock. A crane is seen in flight and a second landing on the ground, lower right. The elegantly designed wide border consists of linear shapes and scrolls. Condition: Very good. Minor wear to one corner and chip to the foot occurring prior to firing the
