Description:
An earthenware dessert plate printed in blue underglaze in the “Spotted Deer” pattern. The pattern consists of a Chinese-style scene with several groupings of different trees, oriental buildings and two spotted deer, one standing and one lying down. The border is made up of stylized flowers and geometric panels.
Condition: Good. 4 small chips to the back of the plate and on 1/2″ hairline in the glaze on the back of the plate. This hairline does not go through to the front of the plate.
