An earthenware garden seat printed in blue underglaze with the popular Bamboo and Flowers pattern introduced c. 1820. Designed after the Chinese shape, it includes molded rivets painted in a blue ground. The pattern is found on a wide range of wares including jugs, bowls, dinner, tea and dessert wares.
Condition:
There are 4 small professionally restored areas on the top and bottom of this piece.
