A rare bone china beehive-shaped covered honey pot printed in blue underglaze in the Two Temples I, Variation Temple. Based on a Chinese original porcelain design. The shape is illustrated in three sizes on page 20 in the 1820 Shape Book.  This item is featured in Chinoiserie: Printed British Ceramics in the Chinese Style, 1750-1900 by R. Halliday and L Zeller, p. 121, Gomer Press, 2018. Provenance: David Drakard Collection and the Nicholas Moore Collection.
