Description:
An earthenware jug printed in blue underglaze in the Long Bridge with Willow pattern. Molded handle. This pattern has the usual motifs associated with the Long Bridge design as produced by several different potteries; however, there is an addition of a willow tree that extends out over the bridge from behind the building. Possible attribution to Swansea. An example with the same pattern is found in the Glynn Vivian Art Gallery, Swansea.
Condition:
Very good. Small chip to the spout has been professionally restored.
