Description:
Commemorative earthenware jug,  Printed in blue underglaze with a variation of the Queen of Sheba pattern. The name “W Lucas” and date “Born July 30 1834” were painted in blue ground under the spout. The pattern is a variation of the earlier version by Minton.
Condition: Good. Professional restoration to a crack in the base. Existing hairline to the inner rim.
