Description:
An octagonal-shaped and molded bone china jug printed in blue underglaze in a U84 pattern (p. 102 of Ian Harvey’s Rathbone book) composed of exotic birds, flowers and a decorative vase. Over-the-glaze filled in colors in pink, green, yellow, and green. The spout has a molded Mandarin face. While the piece is unmarked it can be attributed to Rathbone. c. 1820-30.
