A large rectangular shaped earthenware cover for a serving dish or platter printed in blue with the Bridgeless Chinoiserie pattern. The Davenport version of this pattern has no inner border. It is was introduced c. 1795-1805.
Condition: A hairline crack located on the upper right hand corner.
