Description:
A small earthenware spill vase printed in blue underglaze in three Chinoiserie garden scenes. The vase has been enameled overglaze in green, yellow, pink, and rust. A floral and geometric shape border was used on both the inside and outside of the vase. The piece is unmarked but can be attributed to Baggerly and Ball, as other similar marked examples are documented.
Condition: Very Good. Some enameling has flaked off some of some of the decorative clobbering primarily in the green color.
