An early large earthenware frog mug printed in blue underglaze in the Ornate Pagodas pattern. Includes in the center bottom a delightfully formed and painted frog with a 3-dimensional position. Maker unknown. c. 1810-1820.
Condition: Professional restoration to a minor hairline along the left side of the handle.
