Description:
An earthenware molded cabbage leaf jug printed in blue underglaze with an early line-engraved Twin Temples pattern.  Several pattern motifs are similar to other early Chinoiserie patterns such as a figure in the garden, a figure on the bridge, pointing, an upper island; however, it is unusual to see twin temples.
Condition: Very Good. Rim rub near the spout. One tiny glaze nick on the side.
