Description:
A rare earthenware oval shape of uncertain use printed in blue underglaze in the Zebra pattern. The original hole at the top indicates that the piece could be hung. It contains six round, convex spaces approximately 2.5″ in diameter and four round, convex spaces approximately 1.5″ in diameter printed in patterns from the Zebra border. Figures from the Zebra pattern have been cut out and printed on the top and bottom of the oval piece.
Condition: Good. Item was broken in two and professionally restored.
