Earthenware dinner plate. Many makers created Asian-inspired patterns using similar botanical elements. In this pattern, a rocky patch of ground anchors the design. A tree with angular, woody branches, stylized leaves, flowers and fruit rises from the center. Several stems with stylized leaves and flowers, including a large sunflower, curve to the right and left. A bird perches on a tree branch while a moth flies above and an insect crawls below. On the complementary border, a stippled blue band is punctuated at the top, bottom and sides by a wavy garden plot of similar stylized flowers, leaves, and vines.
Condition: Good. 5 small chips to the edge of the rim.
