Description:
An earthenware dessert plate printed underglaze with a line-graved Elephant and Howdah pattern. The pattern also appears in the surviving Wedgwood Pattern book that illustrates patterns produced during the short time Ralph Wedgwood was at Ferrybridge. This and Elephant with Castle are the two more often found patterns in the Pattern Book.
