Description: A earthenware dinner plate printed with the Gothic Castle pattern. Round with lobbed edge. This is the second of two identical plates in my collection but, in this case, the plate has an impressed “Spode” mark. The border with its medallions include pictures in which appear all manner of animals, representing India with an elephant and other corners of the earth with the giraffe, deer, and a host of indeterminate creatures.
Condition: Very Good.
