Description:
A slightly indented earthenware dinner plate printed in medium blue underglaze in the Jar and Fisherman pattern. The border consists of a series of cartouches that feature a mythological winged dragon figure set in a very formal linear pattern of crisis-cross lines and floral scrolls. The plate has been attributed by some to Hartley Greens & Co., Leeds.
Condition: Very good.
