Octagonal indented earthenware dinner plate.  The pattern is very finely printed and is excellent quality. Attributed to Sowter. The firm very rarely marked their wares although a plate is shown in the Friends of Blue Bulletin # 106, page 11 with the impressed mark: SOWTER’S & CO MEXBRO.
Condition: Very good.
