An octagonal indented earthenware dinner plate. This pattern was printed in blue with pink added overglaze. The border is interesting with a consistent panel of flowers alternating with two variations of Oriental style small buildings and trees. Pattern numbers with dates gives 1821 as the date for this pattern 3222. It has both an impressed and printed Spode mark. The pattern number is hand painted. Provenance: A. Gresham Copeland Collection.
Condition: Fair. There is a rim chip measuring 1.125 x .25 inches.
