Description:
An earthenware plate. A probable attribution can be made to Wedgwood & Co. based on the discovery of a pattern pull sheet found in the Wedgwood & Co. Pattern Book in the Wedgwood Museum Archive. That pattern pull is included here. The pattern is quite similar to the design on the original Chinese export porcelain plate also included here. This is a TCC assigned name. Right sided pattern, two zig-zag fences, each with a different pattern that appear to the right both above and below the bridge. Two figures appear standing on the bridge, one in the doorway of the smaller building and one in reserve in the garden.
Condition: Very good. On rim chip on the underside of the plate.
