Description:
An earthenware dinner plate printed with the Standard Willow pattern. Round shape. Eight slight indentations at the edge of the concave rim. No foot rim. Three-point stilt marks on back of plate. Three single stilt marks on front. Impressed mark, Joseph Stubbs, Dale Hall, Longport, Staffordshire.  Marked early 19th century Willow pattern pieces are uncommon.  This Stubbs piece is the only one I have ever found.
Condition:  Very good.
