Description:
Six earthenware dinner plates in medium blue printed with a circular floral pattern, pattern 2/6787, with “New Bridge” border pattern. Overglaze enameling in several colors with brown enameling on rims. Round shape, Impressed dates are U 14, T 15, Y 15, A 16, and U 23 (one has no date mark). Printed Copeland mark 256, “occurs on earthenwares from 1890 onwards.” Printed mark includes a registration number: 608158. Also impressed Copeland Crown mark, Copeland mark 207. Three plates have pattern no. 2/6479, two plates have 2/6478, and one has no pattern number. Two plates also have a blue printed “T. Goode & Co./ London” mark. Two plates have the same retailer’s mark printed in black.
Condition: Very good condition with some wear to the enameled rim on some plates.
