A very large and rare round bone china charger with matching drainer printed in blue underglaze with the Bridge II pattern. To fill the large space a portion of the pattern was skillfully repeated in the lower portion of the piece. Bridge II was used on bone china dinnerware. The center pattern is basically the same as that in Bridge I, however, the border is different. The drape is smaller, and there are two butterflies. One is facing toward the center, and the other faces outward. An inner nankin honeycomb border has been added.  For more about this charger, see, “The Right or Wrong Fit”, by Loren Zeller in TCC Bulletin 2020 Vol. XXI No. 2, p. 4. These pieces are also documented in Chinoiserie: Printed British Ceramics in the Chinese Style, 1750-1900, by R. Halliday and L. Zeller, Gomer Press, 2018.  Provenance: Nick Moore Collection.
