Description:
The pattern on this very large platter is line-engraved.  It has a workman’s mark consisting of hand painted cross with a small dot in blue. Some examples of this pattern are know with a Dahlia shapred workman’s mark attributed by some to the Cambrian Pottery. Alternate names for this pattern are “Tiled Floor,” “Arcaded Temple.” The border consists of Geometric motifs with Oriental Symbols.
