Description:
An indented earthenware platter printed in blue underglaze with the View of the Imperial Park at Gehol pattern. Note the border includes dragons as well as flowers and scrolls. The pattern is from a source print titled “View in the Eastern Side of the Imperial Park at Gehol” by William Alexander, included in John Barrow’s “Travels in China”, London, 1804.
Condition: Very good.
