An early, small pearlware teapot with a line-engraved Conversation pattern and border. Beautifully molded fluting on the tiny spout and with a simple ball finial on the recessed cover. Globular shape. This pattern is a variant of Conversation #3 recorded in the TCC Pattern Database. Provenance: Anthony Bunce Collection.
Condition: Very good. One tiny chip to the spout.
