A cottage shape earthenware teapot printed in blue underglaze with a Dragon pattern. It has a slender handle with a ribbed band, medium cape at front and rear, ribbed spout with elongated tip. See a similar example in A Directory of British Teapots plate 1243, page 208. This shape was often used for export tea wares for the American market.
