Description:
An unusual earthenware infuser teapot by CT Maling, A & B Ford Potteries, Newcastle upon Tyne. Printed in medium blue with the Mandarin pattern with gilt trim. The infuser insert has registration number 100732 dating it from between 1888 and 1889. The infuser is a separate piece that sits in the teapot before putting on the lid. Without the infuser, the lid sits flat on the teapot body.
Condition: Very good condition, with one small chip to the top rim of the infuser.
