Description:
The pattern painted underglaze on this Chinese export porcelain tureen is known as the Full Nankin pattern. A honeycomb pattern was used for the border on the interior. The exterior of both the base and the cover borders were painted with a butterfly or moth design. Molded vine and leave shape was used for the handles. Strawberry shaped molded finial.
